Frequently asked questions about Find a Loan SA

What is the turn around time on an application?

Once your application comes through to us, we immediately forward on all your details to our panel of lenders, the lenders will start contacting you within a few hours to 24 hrs after your application for our services has been received.

If this is not the case that is because we are trying our best to find you a lender that will assist you outside of our panel of lenders and that may take a little longer than 24 hrs.

Does Find-a-loan-sa do credit checks?

No, we do not but our panel of Financial Service Providers may do so.

What are Find-a-Loan-SA’s criteria?

We are able to assist you if:

  • you are self- employed
  • you are older than 18 years of age
  • you are a South African citizen
  • you have a steady, monthly income of at least R1 500 per month
  • you have a South African bank account


Unfortunately, we are unable to assist you if:

  • you are under debt review
  • you have filed for bankruptcy
  • you are under any debt restructuring programme
  • you have declared yourself insolvent
  • you are under administration
Is my information safe?

You can rest assured that you personal information is protected according to the Consumer Protection aswell as the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act
We also have our SSL and Thawte approval certificates as well as an advanced online system.

How do we cancel the Find-a-Loan-SA service?

We have a 7 day cooling off period, you are welcome to email us on info@find-a-loan-sa.co.za and we will cancel your application
However if you wish to reactivate the service it can be done so.

What is the R350.00 fee for?

The R350 is a once off fee for our Member Benefits package. Please refer to the Member Benefits page for more information.
